The focus of the ​Virtual Alpine Observatory VAO symposium is on latest findings in the area of alpine environmental research (observation, understanding, modelling) in the context of (but not limited to) high altitude research stations. The symposium is also intended to supporting and promoting networking activities and new project initiatives.
